Stag Beetle
Coleoptera

SPECIES OVERVIEW

bandicam 2022-10-31 03-01-48-673.jpg

Stag beetles, gentle giants that live in woodland and garden biomes. These majestic one bug armies can push their way past even the toughest bug.

Males are often seen flying around at dusk searching for a mate. They often will wrestle and fight other males using their mammoth-like antlers. Casualties are common in these high stake duels.

The female stag beetles will dig down into the soil to create their nests where they lay their eggs.

Their tank like play style permits them to take on almost any bug and as such engaging in the open world play is not so challenging for them. However, Infighting with other males comes with it's challenges. For this reason Stag Beetles have an extra level of difficulty when it comes to mating.
