Camel Spider
Solifugae

SPECIES OVERVIEW

unknown.png

The Camel Spider: Murderous speed demon of the desert.

A nocturnal, extremely territorial and top predator, commonly found prowling the desert biome. They eat other predators and anything else less fortunate enough to be in their path. Camel spiders don't even spare each other as they will happily chow down on another camel spider if they can.

Camel spiders don't have venom like spiders it's unnecessary thanks to their insanely powerful jaws. They can manipulate their food through their mouths while sawing their prey back and forth, truly the stuff of nightmares.

Camel spiders are also insanely fast. They can run faster than nearly any other insect, and also have the stamina of a Greek god, so don't expect them to tire out anytime soon. But with such a high performing body comes a metabolism that requires nearly constant fuelling. So, camel spiders eat a lot of bugs, but that doesn't necessarily explain one camel spider behaviour: mass ant assassinations.

Their play style is one of full speed, decapitations and maximum destruction!
